Invitation to Jonathan Glazer
Following Birth and Under the Skin, which stunned audiences, his latest release, The Zone of Interest, overwhelmed the Cannes Film Festival in May, taking home the Grand Prix. The Lumière film festival is proud to announce that Jonathan Glazer will be one of the guests at its 15th edition.

After a decade-long hiatus, British director Jonathan Glazer created quite a stir at the Cannes Film Festival, garnering the Grand Prix. The Zone of Interest captivated critics and audiences alike, while also winning the FIPRESCI International Critics’ Award.
The "zone of interest" was the Nazis' way of referring to the Auschwitz region. It is also the title of a novel by Martin Amis, published in 2015, which the director decided to adapt.
Jonathan Glazer is one of the major voices in contemporary cinema. The Lumière film festival is delighted to welcome him.
