Alfonso Cuarón pays homage to Alain Tanner

After being honoured at the festival in 2018, the Mexican director of And Your Mother Too, Gravity or Roma returns to the Lumière film festival for a tribute he wishes to pay to Swiss filmmaker Alain Tanner.

Jonah Who Will be 25 in the Year 2000 by Alain Tanner (Jonas qui aura 25 ans en l'an 2000, 1976, 1h55, VFSTA)
The Vernier couple, disappointed by May 1968, are about to have their fourth child, Jonah. They dream of a better world for the latter, who will be 25 in the year 2000... An allegorical film at the crossroads of genres, combining gravity and humour.
