Quick bio: As a teenager, Françoise Bichonnier would jot down the bios and filmographies of her favourite actors in a notebook. After working as a pharmacy technician, she became a pastry chef in 2013. Trained by master chocolatier-patissier Sébastien Bouillet, she opened the "Geranium Framboise" laboratory in Décines. Her mignardises were a big hit at the Lumière film festival during the partners' dinner. Now retired, Françoise dreams of becoming a film and advertising extra.
My favourite filmmakers: Clint Eastwood and Robert Redford, I adore them. And also Pedro Almodóvar, he's always put women in the spotlight with great emotion.
The movie theatre where I discovered the cinema: At the Pathé Bellecour in Lyon: screenings of the movies Saturday Night Fever and West Side Story!
My favourite film: La Crise by Coline Serreau, which I’ve seen 1,000 times, and which is still relevant.
Why I volunteer: I’ve always wanted to be involved with the festival; it’s natural for a cinephile. And also because of the contact with the public, the artists and I get to discover the BTS of the festival.
